The KTU project: from idea to experience
When creativity, functionality, and a clear vision meet, projects with lasting value are born.
This was precisely the nature of our collaboration with Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) – a project where every detail was meticulously planned and tailored to the client's needs.
From initial selections to the final result
The beginning of this project was very focused and clear – representatives of the university were presented with
various candle samples:
- different logo positions
- logo size variations
- glaze color options
This allowed us to refine the vision and create a product that accurately reflects the university's identity.
Handmade vessels with a story
Special custom-made ceramic containers were created for the candles by ceramist Živilė Siaurusevičienė ParmoGy.
Each vessel is unique, handcrafted, with subtle textures and forms that invite you to touch, feel, and use them every day.
Scents reflecting different moods
Two different yet complementary scents were chosen for this project:
• Blackberry and bay leaf – a fresh, calm, natural aroma that creates a sense of cleanliness and balance
• Life is beautiful – a playful and luxurious scent, combining notes of raspberry, iris, jasmine, and pear: a subtle dialogue of flowers and fruits
These scents allow you to choose your mood – from tranquility to inspiration.
More than a candle, it's an experience
As with every monsicandles.lt project, the focus here was not just on aesthetics, but also on functionality.
The vessels were designed to be comfortable to hold – to feel the warmth, as if holding a cup of tea or coffee.
When the candle burns out, the story doesn't end.
The vessel becomes part of a daily ritual:
- morning coffee
- evening tea
- moments of slow pause
Sustainability that can be felt
Sustainability is a value important to both the university and monsicandles.lt.
Therefore, this project was developed so that the product would have a longer life. The candle becomes not a disposable item, but a lasting part of everyday life.
Individual solutions for each project
An individual packaging was also created according to the shape of the candles – another important accent that complements the entire experience.
